This movie is a classic! It’s a feel good sisterhood rags to riches story and Keke and Sza stole show! I could feel Issa Rae’s energy throughout the movie. As a L.A. Native myself, I felt so proud of my neighborhood and how it was represented. My girlfriends stayed after the movie and laughed the night away in the lounge. It reminded me of just how amazing it is to always have your sistahs as friends, no matter what. So many complex subjects were exposed; predatory lending, gentrification, womanizers, and the power of never giving up. It’s just one of them days….
