Oh God it is bad. The only reason i didn't give it a zero star review is because it is physically impossible and i have a soft spot for MBB. The script is absolute garbage. Nothing makes sense. How many daughters does it take to appease the dragon? Who walks away from a 300 foot fall with mild scratches? How stupid can the dragon be? Sticking its stupid face close to a sword weilding human, whose father she just killed? Wait, So it can breathe fire. But the same fire that leaves the insides intact, can melt the scaly exterior? And that is all before we get to the awkward dialogue and the non existent chemistry between the paper thin charachters. I could turn a blind eye to all that if brilliant actors weren't so wasted. The story struggles to make us care about MBB beyond the little girl we love as Eleven. I love Angela Basset. But she's given nothing to work with here. And Ray winstone? Nothing to do but Sleep walk his way to a netfix paycheck. I love a good fantasy dragons and kings story as much as the next guy. But good Lord this is bad.
