I bought this game because I read an article telling me that if I loved Skyrim and Breath of the Wild that I would love this game too. The truth is that the only aspect Elden Ring shares with those games so far is the open world element (20hrs in). While the graphics are undeniably stunning, the game play for me is too difficult. I'm more of a casual gamer and for me the grind is a bit too much.
