Bad movie with a lot of big names. Surprised they casted Lady Gaga for such an unlikable character. Patrizia is doomed from the beginning and she has basically zero redeeming qualities. The whole Gucci patriarchy seems far removed from fashion and art. From the characters themselves you wouldn’t know that they were Gucci men. The family relationships are labored and the accents are terrible, basically a joke. Maurizio is basically a push over until the last twenty mins when he has turned against Patrizia entirely. Overall, a sad representation of a sad apparently true story. Everyone seemed miscasted and I don’t understand any reviews for more than a couple stars. Perhaps Aldo was the only fitting one. Everyone else was quite unfitting.
