I play all CODs in Veteran mode so I can earn the PSN trophies first try. This is by far the MOST frustrating version of COD I've ever played. The campaign for this one would be good if they fixed all of the annoying glitches like the lights bleeding through walls, blinding you in a dark corridor. How has this game been out this long without fixing that?? Movement in the campaign is horrible. A few times my character refused to crouch or stand, making it almost impossible to avoid NPCs when trying to be stealthy (I wasn't even stuck on anything). And of course the checkpoint it takes me back too when I die is in the middle of a gunfight so, I immediately die again. I'm not even sure why they have other good guy NPCs, because you basically play it solo anyway since they literally never help. I haven't even finished it yet because it's not only relentless, but buggy too. I keep having to step away from it and play something different. It's really disappointing because the story is good and I applaud the effort with new game mechanics, but it's all lost with overall poor quality. It's clear that IW isn't really giving it's best effort when it comes to the campaign. Online gameplay is the only thing they care about these days. And they can barely get that right. 🤦🏼‍♀️
