I watch CBS News Shows - during the week when I am home, Saturday and Sunday and now that Norah will be the anchor on the evening news - I will be adding that to my watching. I am offended by some of the remarks made and most of the time I just let it go [because after all we are all human subject to human errors]. This morning there was one remark that was made that I feel is important not to let go. Dana Jacobson interview of Wilder was for the most part a great interview. When Wilder talked about the birth of his daughter anyone could tell he was a man of integrity and when Dana asked if he thought about walking away when he found out that his baby was born with spina bifida I was taken back and my first thought was would she have asked that if Wilder was a white man. My second thought was "hell no". And just to set the record straight I am a 76 year old white woman. I also have a background in broadcasting and feel that it is important for reporters to choose the way they speak so as not to perpetuate the out of control hatred in this world. This is where prejudice starts a small wedge between the races and you have an obligation to help end it - And You Can.
