John Lithgow was a good choice but JEFF BRIDGES is terrible in it...can't hardly ubpnderstand what he is saying. So many other good actors could have filled this role.

This show is wonderful and entertaining. Was sorry it was the last episode last night. I CERTAINLY OPE IT WILL BE RENEWED....as it is well put together and every actor is great!

Just love this show - it's one of the best on CBC. Please do not cancel it. Johnnie is a terrific comedian and really seems to take an interest in the people of each town. LOVE THIS SHOW.

We love watching this show but it always bugs me why he doesn't have a cab with 4 doors???? I mean people all trying to fit into a cab - up to 5 squeezing in and out? What's with that.

Like this show...however it annoys me that it's filmed in Newfoundland and yet not ONE Newfoundler is ever in the show.

I totally hate how they mislead people by first showing them a ridiculously priced home they could never afford. I think they figure its a lesson to teach them to dial back their expectations?
