I didn’t expect this movie to hit as hard as it did without the original cast. This showed us something different about what humans will do for each other to survive in worst times. It showed us sacrifice beyond the ones we make for family but also strangers. Brilliant story telling. With a movie that is supposed to be quiet most of the time, they made the best out of the action we got. Lupita is a brilliant actress. Very versatile. You can literally feel her. Every emotion she displayed was accurate. The only thing is I kinda expected to know where these creatures came from and not the normal random falling from the sky. I don’t know what those who gave a bad review expected because this was it for me.
