I am so disappointed in this movie for several reasons. The biggest reason is that it was incredibly rushed. They could have done a 2-part movie or maybe even 3-4 parts to really take their time and develop the stories and show how we got from the last season to here. Another issue is had was no mention of Stiorra and Lady Aelswith, Lady Eadith or Aethelflaed's daughter. Where was Sithric's family? Just so disappointing to not even mention them. Next, the Aethelstan we know, would never have treated Uhtred like that and did the things he did. I don't care what anyone says, I don't believe it. I'm pissed they killed Lord Aldhelm!!!!! Uhtred should NOT have died. He should have been able to get married and grow old and die of old age. There were some parts I liked but overall it could have been better.
