What a boring story line. None of the details matter. So many dang people in the cast and they have like one line in the whole movie. WHY DO WE NEED THEM? (SPOILERS) Am I forgetting something? Why would they make the ex-husband out to be a bad guy and then kill him ... THEY MOVE ON FROM THAT WAY TOO FAST. Kill the new husband... move on from that. No one mourning.. not even the son?? No one even talks about it..They really thought they could get good ratings based on location, genre, and fashion. News flash ... You failed. They are obviously trying to set up for a third movie in which the two main girls will team up in crime fighting/solving... Which just doesn't make sense anymore. The Emily character is boring to watch. Her character is flat. Happy that the Stephanie character evolved.. a little. The body double they kept throwing in was.. obvious. But WTF is up with the sibling make out sessions..does the director want to f*** their siblings or something?

Moana 2 was originally supposed to be a show... less than a year ago they flipped the plan and pushed it into a movie. This is why the new characters are barely introduced and feel pointless, the songs are dull/ lacking that special zing (that Moana 1 had), and everything seems soooo rushed. It's not horrible but it really... just isn't anything special or memorable. Hope the 2025 movie lineup can bring back the magic.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. Characters were great. The chemistry build was awesome. The small twists and the overall story were really good.

Boring dialog, no chemistry between characters, ridiculous storyline, really dull acting. Short review cause I don't even want to waste more time on this movie. Super disappointed

Alright some of these reviews are too much. I obviously loved the book more. The book makes them into two verryyyy real people. You have so many pages to read and understand each character and why they fit so well together. The movie.. Definitely had to rush that process. I enjoy the soundtrack BUT I feel they spent too much time showing the band sing. Felt like they were promoting the fake band than focusing on the people. I'm also not one for montage scenes that skip big areas because we lost so much in those moments. In the book those little scenes really meant something to the characters and helped show the impact it would have to the storyline The acting was really good! I just wish you actually got to feel character chemistry more... it was just all rushed. Still enjoyed it for what it was (: (4 stars because I like the two leads)
