I have found this book to be very helpful. The Lord leads me back to it very often. I am a woman in my 50s who have already had a life of staying home with the kids, house cleaning and the such. Now my life consists in as Demoss puts it "ALL I have to do is the work God has called me to do." Lies women believe About Priorities, Pages 117, 118 it continues. When God tells us to do something, we best do it without a fight. I was devastated when the Lord called me to do nothing except what He has called me to do. I have to give up housecleaning and taking care of my husband, mowing the yard, paying bills, keeping my car clean, etc. This has been a very hard walk for me to do, because I have enslaved myself to my family for 30 plus years, and now God has put a stop to it, for now. I know this to be true because He brings me back to this book/pages very often, to remind me of what He expects me to do. I have rebelled against Him, and my sin caused me to fall and great was my fall. When God gives us an assignment He expects us to do it without a fight. Just this morning the Lord led me to chapter 4 About Sin. We have to remember that God does not change with the world, and He called us to not be of the world. God is the same then now and forever. We have to remember when we surrender our lives to God, our life no longer belongs to us, it belongs to Jesus and He takes it seriously as we should also. I would not of known what God wanted me to do without this book. Thank you Nancy for your obedience to write it. Lynette
