I really wanted to like this movie and went to see it on opening day. However, I am a history teacher and it infuriates me how this film glossed over history. Napoleon, one of the greatest characters in history, is reduced to a barbaric simpering fool. Too much of the movie is spent driving home Josephine's cuckolding and not enough on the accomplishments of Napoleon. There is absolutely no mention of the domestic reforms that are Napoleon's legacy to France and to history. The final straw was giving life to the myth that Napoleon shot the pyramids. Napoleon sparked Europe's I terrst in archeology, he did not destroy it's treasures.

I am not sure where all the hate is coming from. This game has a lot of atmosphere. I am enjoying blasting the bad guys and exploring this macabre setting. The best game I have played lately, no, but certainly not the worst. Definitely worth a few hours on Game pass.
