Mentalist is one of the best TV series I have ever watched. Although Patrick Jane resorts to the below 3 methods to unravel the mystery in most of the episodes, 1) Make believe the criminal that he has evidence against him and drive him crazy. 2) Pull the rat out of hole by convicting one of the suspects who hasn't committed the crime. 3) Subtle deductions made from the facial expressions or actions of people for the questions he poses related to crime. The combination of all these is what makes some episodes intriguing and not so much for some others. Overall a must watch for Jane's masterclass and RED JOHN!!!
