Omission of major characters and scenes are disappointing. Studio changes fundamentals of world and character backstories making them worse. Screen time is wasted on new or minor characters often on new content. Hard to follow if you haven't read the books. They go out of their way to showcase strong minor female characters in a way the book protagonists are overshadowed. Strangely 2 strong female characters were omitted. A sprawling complex epic is clearly something the amazon writers and their pacing cannot handle faithfully.
