Loved the movie!!! Whoever these "professional" reviewers are, they sure need to do better! Makes me wonder how professional they portray themselves to be if they can't seen to understand the theme of the musical or the songs themselves. Thankfully I was able to pay blind attention to the reviews and go see the movie for myself and I definitely do not regret doing so. Obviously not your everyday movie but it all unfolds and you get to understand each of the characters. Can't fault the producers for wanting to use cat costumes but the only part I found a little bit distasteful was Rachel Wilson doing the zipping and scratching thingy. Other than that I loved every bit of it. It's a musical, so I expected as much songs as possible, and they sure delivered in that aspect. Already downloaded the soundtrack. Hopefully I'll get to also see the stage musical soon enough.
