I found Oldboy to be extremely disappointing despite its reputation as a cinematic masterpiece. The pacing was so slow that I frequently felt the need to fast-forward through scenes, hoping it would eventually get better. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The actors delivered uninspired performances, making it hard to connect with or care about the characters. The plot, while initially intriguing, became inconsistent and convoluted as the story progressed, losing its grip on any sense of coherence. Even the locations felt poorly chosen, lacking the atmosphere needed to support the film's tone. Overall, it was a frustrating and boring experience that didn’t live up to the hype
