Hello, I binged on this strange drama and I watched seven episodes in one evening, and chatting to my adult daughter at the same time, filling her in on all the ridiculous drama! Why is a 45 year old woman playing a 34 year old?? She doesn’t look 34, so I googled her. WHY did she give birth to her twins outside in the shed? Why? Why did her husband take the first newborn into the house and leave his screeching wife to deliver the second - only to return to her and be suddenly very supportive to her. It just didn’t make sense. Why does her husband leave her with the corpse of Oscar and run out of the house, only for the police to meet him out front? Who called the cops? It was so unbelievable. Then a year later the rug with Oscars blood on it is still rolled up in the lounge?? They should have finished the eps after Tomas went to prison. Instead they just had boring episodes with nothing happening. I’ll keep watching but it’s a commitment to read subtitles for 17 episodes- you can’t have it on in the background because it’s in Spanish (I think). Good luck with this one 😬

I was compelled to Google who played the priest in Midnight Mass. The whole miniseries had such strong characters who all did such a convincing job. But the character of the island priest was played so well. What a great performance by Hamish Linklater. AMAZING!
