This film loosely follows the biblical account. And when I say loosely, very loosely. Which is why I can only give it one star. I’m all for giving creative license, but this is too much for me. The acting is good, the cinematic lighting and camera work is very well done. However, if you’re looking for an accurately told story of the birth of Christ according to the New Testament, this film is not for you.
