I am throughly enjoying this series.

Although I I'm personally sick of slave movies...this movie was about freedom and perseverance. A redemption story that has a happy ending. The undoubtedly faith and love of God that he HAD to keep to endure all the obstacles that he went thru to get back to his wife and kids. The younger generation for sure needs to see this movie. It reminded me of an updated Roots displaying more details and realistic graphics. The mental and physical capacity that our ancestors endured to get to "freedom" is undeniably commendable. I have even more gratitude today for it!

This show is so funny. Truly enjoyed it! Mike Epps, Kim Field's, and Wanda is a good match
