Phew. What a great movie. From start to finish, from the actors to the plot lines everything, everyone in this film is flawless. Violent, subtle, realistic and scary as all get out, check out this film. Repeated viewings are an absolute must.

I love this book. Multiple story lines; wonderful characters; inspired scenarios all intricately woven together to create a colorful and complete novel of send-ups of Russian society, religion, and a love story to boot. A wonderful, wonderful book. Have read it many times. It is as fresh the last time I read it as it was the first. Do yourselves a favor: READ THIS BOOK!!!
