Did not appreciate Gurlesque using my friend's submission from SEVEN years ago without any contact in the interim. At no point did the editors verify that she still wanted to be included nor did they reach out to give her an opportunity to update her biographical information. But hey, I guess that's what Gurlesque's version of feminism is: equal opportunity exploitation of writers. Because anything corporate suits can do, mean grrls can do better- including stripping your favorite author of their autonomy.
