Unlike too many horror/adventure films, this one is actually philosophically meaningful beyond the thrills. "as above, so below" is ancient Hermetic wisdom, and the movie actually contains a bit of that wisdom. It has its faults, but I recommend it as containing something you can think about after the excitement is over.
