I don't understand the point of this show. It doesn't showcase creative and unique cooking (can you imagine centering a whole episode around a roast chicken regardless of how much butter and herbs you slide under the skin?). It doesn't showcase competition. It doesn't show case personal growth and development for the chefs, as promised. It just promotes bad behavior and feels a lot like a bait and switch.
