A whole new level of miss characterization and butchering the story. A reader who hate the novel that help him survive for ten years. A complex grey character suddenly chance into a generic hero type. A female characters that symbolize fight against misogyny turn into healer because she is apparently the female member of the group, following the usual stereotype. Why bother creating an adaptation when you just took the premise and made a whole new trash as story. But I guess it's how all those Korean director is, always took another person work (novel or manhwa) and destroying it while hiding behind the word "adaptation". Because the same thing happened with weak hero and first night with the duke. Please just stop making live action adaptation if you just want to wreck the original author perfectly fine and beautiful story.
