Loved this film back in the 1960s so bought it on dvd. Vincent Price is outstanding as Prince Prospero and Hazel Court and Jane Asher are very good too. All in all it was as good as I remembered. No spoilers but it is about a plague brought by the four horseman of the apocalypse. Enjoy.

Brilliant romp with the three masters of horror, Cushing, Price and Lee. Frightened me to death when I was a kid. Now as a 60 something grandfather my kids and grandkids think it's pretty tame by today's standards. They still enjoyed it though.

They should have quit at The Gate. Special effects very limited by today's standard but that isn't the problem. The story is very weak and the acting very wooden. Not even a good B movie. More like a D. Movie. Watch the gate by all means it is still enjoyable to this day, but don't bother with this.

OK so I love The Stand, and I am not alone in this. The Stand is probably Stephen Kings best and most loved story of all time. This however is not The Stand. Don't get me wrong there are some good stories and one or two great stories, but they are not written by Mr. king, they are written by people paying an homage to a great tome.
Some fall far from the mark, some I feel were already written and bits of The Stand were thrown in to make the cut. Others, were so well written that you wanted to find out if they made it to Mother Abigail or did they join the walking dude?. No spoilers and if you want to explore The Stand universe a bit more, then go for it, but don't expect Stephen King.

Don't know why the rating for this is so low, as a horror fan, these movies have a pretty unique storyline and it is well worth a watch.

Don't know why this film gets such a bad rep, I always thought it was a good film. Maybe because it deals with suicide. To me this is a good film and well worth the watch. I bought the trilogy box set on dvd. The first and third films are good, In my opinion, the second mewwhh.

OK no spoilers but this film lacks the feel of the first movie in every way possible.I did not feel as invested in Bridget anymore, yes there were moments of hilarity and sadness but nowhere as much as before. Maybe it's me and I have become more cynical because of the world we live in. Maybe it is just this has become a tired format, I don't know. But i loved Sally Phillips and James Callis I thought they endured the 26 years better than Rene.

OK it isn't the train to busan. It is not world war z or the waling dead, but what it is, is a fast action packed zombie movie, with some beautifully choreographed martial arts. I didn't understand why a young Dr was living in a slum.
The zombies were fast moving and their transformation was interesting. The humans, aka the army, were evil and probably worse than the zombies.
So all in all if your after an action packed zombie flick give this one a try.

Excellent, at last somebody that understands the Welsh. Covers the important issues such as Aberfan, the Miners strike of 84 to 85 and Wales in the aftermath. A damn good book and it's on Audible too.
