After about a month of playing (170 hours) and being a souls vet, I can honestly say it’s one of the most fun games I’ve played recently. Every single expedition is a completely new experience and even more so if you’re playing with random people. Yes their can be more variation to the night 1/2 bosses and more can, and seems like will, be added to the game as the devs get more feedback The new enhanced bosses is also a great addition, bringing a much more intense version of a boss you once struggled already to overcome. The game is beautiful and not a ton of bugs even around release day. Well worth the $40

I’ve played MH games from what feels like the beginning of when I started to ever play video games about 20ish years ago. Wilds felt extremely lackluster compared to other games or even previous titles. I had quite a few friends crown hunting when I first got on so I got plat/100% in about 40 hours which is my fastest for any game yet. But the most disappointing 2 parts of the game are the story only being about 8-10 hours and how easy the game is. Haven’t carted still in the game even after the title update and I’m just about to 110 hours and HR 322 on ps5. No mods. I have just about every armor male and female, every weapon in the 4 weapon category’s I use, and everything’s is completely finished. There’s too much cosmetic dlc add on content for $25 to get almost nothing and only 30 monsters to fight. Unless you just want to play a character decorating and dress up game for $60 with little actual in game content to fighting and grinding monsters. Look elsewhere. Capcom I’m disappointed this isn’t a full game in 2025 💔
