I just finished watching this and cried so much. Taraji P. Henson is one hell of an actress. I've been there with my first child. The storyline was done perfectly. It wasn't dragged out at all.

It builds up little by little with really good story telling. Teenage drama with monologue ,she tells some of her life history so it don’t drag the series out( which really didn’t bother me an I’m an adult, lol) Can’t hardly wait for the next season! Well done Netflix

Great storytelling of the Geshia life, things I didn’t know. It tells before,during and after the war of what this girl went through. This is a very touching story. I’ve seen this several times.
