Pokhran, a novel which revolves around the after effects of 'smiling buddha' nuclear test that occured in Pokhran is a brilliant read.
The protagonist Chaitanya is a genuis who is disabled due to leakage of nuclear radiation during the test. He loses his mother during childbirth. Brought up by his loving sister and strict father, he grows up to be a bright young man who gets his PhD from MIT at very young age! He is a multi millionaire making loads of money. Sounds good isn't it? 😀
Read this book to uncover his story and deep secrets it holds and to know what all a man confined to a wheelchair can achieve!
When I picked this book, I thought it was a crime thriller. But there's a lot of depth to it. The author has covered so many diverse topics which are both thought provoking and enlightening. I especially loved the thought of economic foundation.
This was definitely a good read! Kudos to the author's thought process and bringing a fresh story to fiction lovers 😊
