Wow, this album is absolutely stunning. It's written by a woman who constantly gets torn down by people who don't even know her, forgetting that she's a real person with her own share of struggles and emotions. This album is a testament to her incredible self-awareness, unmatched songwriting talent, and the fact that she's got nothing left to lose, because she may have already lost it all anyway. It's so refreshingly honest and strikes the perfect balance between pop and indie vibes. All the songs that were hyped up totally lived up to the hype. The opening track, "Fortnight," had a deeper, more somber meaning, but she managed to make it fun and enjoyable. And my personal favorite, "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart," was just so honest and a little melancholic. But even the sadder songs on the album were still amazing. Taylor Swift knows how to make even heartbreak sound fun, and that's why we adore her.
