I've had this album since 1977. It's an era when music was in it's purest form. Straight from the soul. Initially, I didn't think this album would peak my interest because I generally listened to R&B, Blues and Jazz. Culturally predominantly black music at the time. Jess Roden covered all the bases. "Drinking Again" with it's bluesy feel may be my 2nd or 3rd favorite. But the cut that embodies the title "The Player Not The Game" was and still is my absolute favorite. It's called "Sensation."
