I would not change the show at all just my opinion. Love justin throughout the whole show. But he could’ve still gone to the music program at college. No one was stopping him. He probably would’ve learned something new and actually grown from it. His parents were paying for college and didn’t even care what he studied, just that he went. He had the chance to do both—pursue music and get an education—but he threw it away over a girl he barely knew. That wasn’t love, it was lust. She was so negative most of the time, always acting like she knew everything. He was vulnerable because they had one really good weekend and he thought he “loved” her. Instead of just being honest and telling him how she felt, like he probably would’ve done for her, she just acted like her way was the only way. And when he didn’t go along with it, she’d get mad. People keep saying she helped him figure out what he liked, but I can’t stand behind that—he was already making music before he met her. Yes, her aunt told him to tell the old dude to turn the music down, but he’s the one who actually did it. He’s the one who sold his beats on his own. He figured out that’s what he wanted to do without her guidance. She didn’t make that happen. She just thought she always knew best, and he was too caught up in her to see it.
