It was a great movie, happy 100th anniversary disney! This was their first 2.5D movie, it was pretty good, like at night, but sometimes it looked a little dodgy and unfinished. We don’t get to know much about Asha’s friends, and I feel like they were just thrown in there. Also, there seems to be a big leap between Magnifico being nice, to evil, because one second he’s singing a song about oh how he’d protect them, and now he’s off squishing them into his staff. I wish they did they added in star boy (like in the concept art). But this was a good movie, and I like the bits of humour added into it. But maybe a little less Easter eggs, because it was getting confusing. I like how Disney started making more dorky main characters, with different skin tones which shows diversity. Overall I think this was a good movie but a little fast paced. Also when Disney tried to create a really evil villain song it didn’t turn out great. It was too happy and when it started to go evil he went ‘brrrr’ and it lost effect. And Asha is too perfect and too naive and thinks she’s right about everything.some songs are cringy and welcome to Rosas seemed like an infodump. The movie is okay I guess, but it has HEAPS of flaws. Two stars! I’m kind of disappointed.
