I loved the Batman cartoons as a kid. None of the past Batman movies lived up to my expectation. Except this one. This is the Batman I've grown to love as a kid. I did not expect to RP to fit with the character, but he did. The movie is dark, edgy, gripping, sometimes a little dragging, but it's forgivable. This movie worked because it did not try hard to be like anything else but Batman. It did not try to copy Marvel's style. Plus, the cinematography is excellent. Well done, DC. I hope this movie clicks. I would like to see part 2.
