I have to preface this by saying I am a Pitsenbarger and when I served in the Army My name, like many Pitsenbargers before me regardless of branch or era was "Pits". So there may be some bias in this review. For starters to hear famous actors say your nickname that you've only ever heard your dearest friends from the service say was surreal. To hear and watch his story told in this manor was very humbling. As are most stories told from this war. This one just much closer to home for me. It didn't glorify the war or overstate anything as would be expected. Simply highlighted the fight to recognize the heroism of a man who gave far more than anyone could ever expect. That others may live.
