The one star reviews for this movie really don’t make much sense to me. Was there some lack of sense at some points? Yes. Was it necessary for the plot? Yes! People seem to think that a movie about a serial killer getting out of a trap set specifically for him was gonna just be him being a genius. Obviously not. The plot needed him to get lucky sometimes for the story to be driven. And on top of that he still does some pretty genius things with the luck he’s given. And the director does very good for the most part in making it very clear that he got super lucky for some parts. However I will say that sometimes it really does make no sense at all what the police or other characters were thinking. However this overall was a very good movie. Despite my criticism I still give this a 5 as it was the first movie I ever actually sat on the edge of my seat in the theater anticipating the main characters next move. Some of the moves were so deliberate and smart that even though they were scripted I still had my jaw physically open like a character from a cartoon.
