My mate says that's two hours he's never going to get back. I would say that the visuals are lovely in the way they coloured the film, but I think they were going for a Tarantino, and came out with an insufferable movie that has an accidental pay-off. To be honest, we had to start skipping the end half of the film until something happened. Maybe its a film that pays off on review. Its almost a Mr. Bean episode stretched out. I appreciate the endeavor in making us dislike a character to the point we wanted him to be beaten up.... but is that the point of the film? I'm frustrated at this frustrating film. I will talk about this with people, and there is a huge fan-base for people who love Mr. Cage's work... and I can't really fault anyone's performance, its just that it was a film full of Geoffrey's (from that Game with the Thrones). Not only is it dull and obvious, its sort of a masturbation on Mr Cage's style.
