Being a huge fan of the Evil Dead franchise now 40 years, I was excited to see that there was gonna be a game that'll do it some justice. So like a fan would do, I bought it pre-ordered as soon as it was available, watched all of the promos & early testing videos, and marked my calendar for the release today. Regretfully I was apart of the unlucky Xbox owners unfortunate enough to be effected by the delayed launch due to a "systems error", but thankfully they recognized the problem and had it up and running by 11am. I've been playing it non-stop ever since, and they did not disappoint. The game is true to the lore of the whole Evil Dead franchise but I feel they missed the mark without a phenomenal single player story mode option that could correlate with the movies and series. The game's a bit challenging for me, a gamer noob, but diehard horror fan. I really dig the gratuitous gore and the ominous atmosphere. Its truly GROOVY!
