The film in itself was ok and the acting from David corensweet as superman was good my issue was the film in itself had no basis it just jumped in at a certain point in time James gunn had no introduction of were krypto came along or the justice gang.the movie was direction less and had no basis.whereas man of steel had a full driven back story that delved a lot deeper into superman's mythology and ideology Henry calls superman was wholesome not saying David's wasn't the film just lacked story depth.there was no explanation of where all the super characters originated.i am sorry but my review is based that man of steel was by far a miles better superman film and that I preferred Henry cavill as the epitome of the character.if James makes a sequel it needs to start explaining back stories and so on.at least with the first DC films they all tied in to each other yes there were a few duds but man of steel and justice league( the Zac Snyder cut) were excellent if DC wants to start another multiverse they need to start explaining character arcs anyway that's enough from me I would give the film 3 out of 5 stars purely on the story or lack of where characters came from rather than the acting abilities as I thought they all did a pretty decent job despite the silly narrative of the story thanks Wagga
