I’ve read all the prequels and the Dune trilogy and all the books that come after the trilogy to the end of the saga. I’ve seen the first Dune movie and the mini series. The cinematics and the costumes and special effects and set design are all excellent. The story development was pretty bad. The acting was ok but the left out soooo much it would be hard for anyone who hasn’t read the book to know what is happening in a bigger sense. Sad really. I was looking forward To this movie. Maybe when the other parts come out the whole thing will be more tolerable.
