Riveting and powerful film , cast, and true story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was a Christian Theologian who spoke against the Nazi regime and the Nazified German Church. While other pastors and Christians were silent and complied with the social upheaval and Nazis' blasphemous rewriting Holy Scripture to a "new German Bible" that eliminated the Judea-Christian history and God's Word and recreated Jesus as an Aryan. It was too much to bear for Bonhoeffer who volunteered to become a "Nazi spy" while also a member of the German Resistance who rescued German Jews and became a would be assassin. This film is especially relevant today as the world has and is once again turning its back on the Jewish people and embracing hatred and antisemitism.
