Almost an epic movie! 😭 It started off really strong and unique but by the 2/3 mark, you could tell they were tryna squeeze too much into a 1.5 hour film. There were several things I wish they had done differently, such as showing more story instead of the characters just perfectly articulating their feelings into speech, or expanding the worldbuilding and characters more (namely Celine and the rest of the Saja Boys). My main problem though is a spoiler: ***Rumi was basically groomed/manipulated by Jinu and he got away with it because of his pretty face his sacrifice at the end. On the other hand, the soundtracks and visuals are outstanding, this was a terrific representation of Korean culture while critiquing its harmful beauty and K-pop standards.
