Animation and fight sequences were fantastic. As for the storyline, it seemed to have "legs" til it turned Little Mermaid. I love the incorporation of folklore and old monster stories in the Witcher, but this is more dollar store disney with a side of Witcher. Action and animation got it two stars. Maybe an elongated format to better flush out the story, whether it be a 3 episode series or full season, would have made a world of difference. This could be me giving the writers an out, but maybe if given more time they could have produced a story that didn't rely on a disney "sample" that felt very out of place.
