I just watched Kannguvaa in the US, and unfortunately, it didn't impress me. The child lead felt miscast, and his performance lacked depth. A younger actor (6-7 years old) would've been more fitting. There is so many sentimental scene  of this kid and we werent able to connect  and that was the biggest disspaoinment. When surya wants to protect this kid we are not feeling anything because it is a grown ass kid and felt like laughing..the main core of this movie is surya trying to help this kid and it was boring The comedic relief from Suriya, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu and Kingsley fell short. People were laughing when that kid was getting seizure
