I’ve only watched episode 1. The show is filmed too dark. Hard to see anything going on. Jake is a great actor but his demeanor and voice is too soft for a prosecutor. Why the bi-racial component??? It’s not necessary and the husband/wife chemistry is not there because of it. The movie was fantastic. THEY had chemistry. That’s what I was expecting. Why is the medical examiner so hostile, right off the bat? That’s not typical behavior for any medical examiner real or fake. I don’t buy the Carolyn character/actor as a strong willed seductress and prosecutor yet (like the original). I don’t know yet if I’ll continue watching. I want to watch all episodes at once, not weekly so I’m waiting for them all to drop, then we’ll see. I really want to like it!

Tom and Mark are great actors, and were able to pull off some humor because of their natural talents, but overall the characters were weak. You don’t feel like rooting for anyone. Most action sequences were cheesy and unrealistic. I only continued to watch to the end and gave it 2 stars because I like Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg and think they were just handed a bad script.
