Only halfway through but good grief I can't piece together the excellent cast and the terrible writing/production of this series. Seriously, did the apprentice write the script? Too many tangent storylines with incomplete back stories and context, unfathomable filming locations and some frankly bizarre elements (love to know how you get a private beach like that in Yorkshire... Or how you happen to just land a free stay in a posh spa, and who wears slinky cocktail dresses and high heels to a BBQ in their garden?!) It's all just rather silly and therefore impossible to take seriously.
