I REALLY wanted to like this game as a big Sonic fan. It’s such an innovative idea, being able to control 3 teammates with different abilities, but the handling and mechanics are way too finicky. You’ll often find yourself still falling if you do something exactly how the game instructs you to do. For example, this game often has rails you need to grind on, and switching between them sometimes just simply launches you off of the stage, killing you. The speed type is way too hard to control as there is usually nothing to stop you from falling off the platform if you find yourself going too fast. The only thing that saves this game is the excellent atmosphere(music, stage design) and 4 different game styles. Given, the 4 different game styles still take you through the same stages, but they will be modified to accommodate for the respective team. Try this game if you’re a big modern Sonic fan, but I can’t really recommend it otherwise.
