I actually feel guilty leaving a bad review because I feel like I should love this show. But the truth is, it makes me want to stick my finger down my throat. EVERYTHING about this show is unrealistic. I don’t know who the writers are but they definitely did not put much research into hurricanes in the south. We do not have hurricanes in November (eye roll) and a “storm of the century” would have obliterated Serenity. But the next morning, everyone had power and was making breakfast. And in typical fashion, everyone looks like a million bucks and plans are in place for a perfectly flawless recovery (eye roll). There’s not ONE part of this show that’s relatable to the lives that most of us live. I could go on, but will stop here. Very shallow show with very so-so actors and storylines.
