I really wanted to love this show as the books I reread almost every year because it’s such an amazing rich series,but it veers so far from them I just can’t. Maybe if I had never read the books I would like it, but at best right now it’s a a mild irritation that I started it and feel I need to finish. What they did to Nynavae’s character is an absolute disgrace , as well as Matt. The whole scene of Fal Dara , Rand’s first encounter with the foresake and Horn - garbage treatment. Lanfear’s character is so poorly used in this it’s laughable. Its honestly like someone read the cliff notes to the book on a foreign language 20 years ago and than wrote this show hung over from a 10 day bender in 30 minutes on the wall of a bathroom , and then someone else translated it to a third language and tried to explain it to their parents . There is zero grasp of what the book series is about the , theme, heart and soul of if and the characters have been gutted or ignored or worse changed so much it’s jarring and hurtful. If you have any love for the books then walks away from this show and don’t make the error I did starting it
