I don’t know how close Harlan Coben actually was to the production of this show and I don’t know if he had any input into the screenplay but the story is a convoluted mess and the script is abysmal. The characters are one-dimensional or utterly unlikeable, or both, so I frankly couldn’t give a toss about any of them or their situation. Even Joanna Lumley can’t save her character. That’s not what I expect from a Coben story.
One the plus side it looks nice with some great locations but it’s not worth watching just for that.
Watch either of the other two Netflix adaptations of Coben stories or just read the original books instead.
