Visuals are great. Hated the story. A woman powerless to a monster for her entire life? And her very nature and life is fated to succumb to him? I love Dafoe. I don’t know what his character added to the story except some great acting and liveliness because he mostly pointed and explained what was happening. For a mad genius who dabbles in alchemy, we didn’t get to see anything genius or alchemical. Might as well have made him be a priest who’d ramble the same stuff. Most characters didn’t have any development. So is it worth it? As a woman tired of seeing that a regular woman’s desires for pleasure be twisted into evilness and shame, I hated the last shot and the point of the story. We start and end with trauma and that’s not worth a watch in this world.

To portray an Israeli field agent & spy that led to a bombardment of Arab neighboring states, with like 15,000 facilities lost from the 1967 war—to portray him in the midst of Israel committing even more war crimes in this current times, is ridiculous. Way to go Netflix to side with Zionism. He is not a hero.

Gross Zionist propaganda. No I don’t feel like supporting a Israeli military movie about hunting down a Palestinian. There is a literal genocide happening and everyone in this review section is brainwashed to think that blowing people to smithereens is “cool” and shows a “love.”

Really downplayed Colin & Penelope’s friends-to-lovers romance. There’s only so many “longing” looks I can take before I get tired of it. Hyped it up in publicity and then we barely get them on screen! Barely any explicit content and that’s what separated this show from other romances. Not enough romantic build-up like the first one. The second season was a fiery and passionate build-up of love. And this one fell flat. Super disappointed to see this writing take a pitfall after being so obsessed with the first and second season.
